Establishing himself in 1992 as a freelance press photographer, Howard Michael Hatfield has been commissioned by an impressive succession of international blue-chip enterprises to capture images of events throughout the UK.
Clients have included BBC Radio 2, Virgin, Toyota Motor Sport, Carlsberg, Skoda and ‘Autosport’ magazine.
Events have included the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, the World Rally Championship (WRC), Newcastle’s Premier League matches, the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), and a multitude of musical performances by artists such as Robbie Williams, U2, Blur and Pulp. (Our images have been used for CD covers and jewel-case inserts.)
Yet this site contains far more - especially in respect of images of the natural world including landscapes, travel, fashion and commerce which have been shot either on celluloid or digitally.
The facilities here enable visitors to peruse a very broad range of images and then to purchase them. Low-resolution thumbnail images may be downloaded and printed by visitors at no cost. Howard Michael Photographic holds the copyright on all images but purchasers have limited rights to print their purchases (normally one copy only unless there is an agreement otherwise). Unauthorised publication of images, whether for financial gain or otherwise, breaches copyright, is illegal, and could lead to civil action.
